• Both Caravans and Motorhomes have integral chassis and frames, made from galvanised steel. Steel has a much higher resistance to fatigue and cracking than an aluminium frame, and weighs little more.
SLR Vehicles are built to the highest engineering standards, using premium materials, to deliver a quality product that will last. They are all specifically designed to withstand harsh Australian conditions, and many of our vehicles have already been thru some of the most challenging.

As such, our vehicles are all comprised of an integral chassis and frame unit, and laminated with SLR's Composite Core-Mat Fibreglass panels. Front / Roof and Rear panels are one piece - not siliconed together like many RV's. All vehicles are fully insulated, and fitted out with Imported cabinetry and fixtures from Germany. Cabinetry is glued and screwed, not just stapled or nailed, and all electrical wiring is protected by conduit thru-out the entire vehicle.

At SLR we strive for customer satisfaction, and by building a top quality product............. we deliver.
• All electrical wiring is protected by conduit thru out the entire vehicle - not just where wires pass thru frame sections.
• All vehicles use quality John Guest pluming components.
• Cabinetry is imported from Germany, and is especially designed to be ultra light weight for the RV industry. Overheads use Ferrari Stays, drawers run on Harn Runners, and all cupboards are fitted with SLR's high quality compression latch's.
• SLR's integral frame and Rigid Core Fibreglass panels give the vehicles incredible strength and resistance. All vehicles are fully insulated and internally lined with quality materials.
• A one piece fibreglass roof / front / rear means no messy silicone joins and no leaks. If you haven't had a look at the roof of many other vans, you may be well surprised to see how much they rely on siliconed joins to prevent water entering the interior.
• Many vans that claim to have fibreglass paneling, have a thin layer of fibreglass on top of ply sheets to give a sense of rigidity. This ply often rots around openings such as fridge vents, windows etc. from water seeping in, causing major de lamination problems.

SLR use a fibreglass composite panel, which is self supporting and waterproof. It is also very scratch resistant and easy to repair if damaged.
• All vehicles have a polished aluminium edge mould, which replaces the dated and UV prone plastic insert variety.
