Motorhome Construction - Galvanised Steel Superstructure:

All SLR Motorhomes are constructed using a strong one piece frame, giving uncompromised strength to the vehicle.

Steel does not fatigue and crack like aluminium, & has only minimal weight difference.

Rigid Core Fibreglass Wall Section:

Every SLR Motorhome has a strong fibreglass exterior, which is a full self supporting composite panel. Utilising advanced boat building techniques, this material has a foam core section, and is ultra light weight, providing maximum strength and impact resistance - as well as full protection from natures elements.

Inferior fibreglass paneling which is commonly used in the RV industry consists of a single thin layer of fibreglass, backed by a ply to give some sense of rigidity. This construction method only provides minimal strength and impact resistance, and leaves the vehicle prone to de-lamination and 'wood rot' around openings such as refrigeration vents and hatches - In fact on any edge or anywhere there has been a hole cut in the fibreglass surface.

Laminated to the steel superstructure and sandwiched with a 25mm insulation layer and decorative ply internal lining, the vehicle is braced for superior strength.

Superior Electrical Protection:

Electrical wiring is protected by conduit throughout the entire vehicle, not just where it passes through a section of framework. This eliminates the chance of wires wearing thru their plastic coating and shorting out.

Lightweight Designer Cabinetry:

We use the latest in lightweight German cabinetry, designed specifically for the RV industry. Clean lines and soft curves give our vehicles an unparralled sense of space and organisation.

All Cabinetry is Glued and Screwed for maximum strength - not just nailed.
