The Adventurer comes as standard with Isuzu factory leaf spring and shock absorber setup, with dual wheels on the rear axle and the same single wheel setup on the front. This is suitable for lighter offroad / 4x4 conditions. However, if you intend to travel more serious terrain, there are a number of different suspension upgrades, and "Super Single' tyres packages available.

A super single tyre and rim is as it sounds. It replaces the dual rear wheels and narrower front wheels with single wheels. These wheels are taller, wider and have a more aggressive tread pattern. All rims and tyres are complianced and rated to suit the vehicle, and provide much improved offroad performance and ability.

Suspension packages can vary. An example of an upgraded setup may generally include new spring setups, and heavy dudy shock absorbers.

SLR also supply and fit the optional Bullbar and Winch setup for the Adventurer. The bullbar is fully complied to Australian Standards and Airbag compatible. It is made from Alloy and provides extra protection from frontal impacts. It is available with or without a winch mount, and has an extremely durable powdercoat finish.

We reccommend WARN winches. They are a proven brand and represent quality, value for money, and reliability when you most need it. A 15,000 lb electric Warn winch is a suitable application for this vehicle, however others are available upon request.

SLR advise as an absolute necessity to replace the smaller standard steel fuel tank, with the 300 litre alloy long range tank. The tank is factory fitted by Isuzu and ensures you have adequate fuel to do the job the Adventurer was designed to do - and that means not having to be near a fuel station for extended periods of time.
The truck comes as standard with a very comfortable front bench seat setup. Available as an option, are a pair of Stratos bucket seats. These are a leading and well respected brand, and provide that bit of extra comfort and support when travelling on those extra long hauls.
Available as a factory fitted option, is the 3500 kg towbar and in cabin brake controler package. The bar sits at a suitable height for standard trailers, but keep in mind it does reduce your departure angle when tackling more challenging terrains. (ie angle between bottom of rear wheel and lowest point at rear of vehicle)
